Final Project: Kiwi Country (An Interactive Fiction)
Hooray, my game is done! And! It mostly came out how I wanted it to (...mostly)!
First off, make sure you at least have Zoom Version 1.1.2 or it won't run.
Things you should note and/or do:
-check your inventory (> i)! Because some things come and go...
-examine (> x) things! People and objects all have descriptions.
-----Some of these descriptions are kind of important.
-you have to '> enter [location]' but you can't '> exit [location]'
-----(so, only type '> exit')
-you have to specifically '> ask [person] about [thing]' every time
-----(you can't just '> ask about [thing]')
-that said, you can use or address the shortened names of things
-----('> enter cafe' or '>ask woman about [something]')
-----unfortunately, you'll have to type out 'chauffeur' several times
-----on the plus side, you'll learn how to spell the word 'chauffeur'
-if you can't figure out how/why to use something in your inventory
-----there's probably a scene sometime later that tells you how/why
There is one main ending that involves collecting all of a type of thing.
Two secondary endings in the first half of the game result in your death.
If you're stuck, keep trying until you get really really really frustrated...
-----or, you know, you can just ask me for help. I made the game after all.
-----also, I know the 'cheats' - the quick ways to get through the first half
Feel free to let me know if any of it doesn't work (or if I missed any typos).
Enjoy!
