Game, Game, Game, and again Game

I've never really experience such a distracting game. Sure, there were the occasional video games growing up that try to disorient you; there are levels in Mario (for Nintendo 64) that spin and strobe in order to get you to lose your focus.

"Game, Game, Game, and again Game" is a different sort though. One cannot really play the "game" without getting some interesting messages. Playing as a blinking blue asterisk, one must navigate around abstract clauses, statements from the Bible, and random jargon in order to get to the hallowed door to exit every level. A Dadaist would love this game.

Some levels come with morals too, or really, a hint at them. As you progress along, there is "The Capitalist" level, where the player must obtain dollar signs in order to find an exit. The subtitle to this level makes a message about consumerism. Each level has some kind of message behind the bizarre chunks of writing, the squiggles, the distractions. Each step the player makes comes with a new little piece of the narrative, and I must say, "Game, Game, Game, and again Game" quickly became the most interesting and enjoyable game I've played in a while. It's randomness is on par with Radiohead album art, and can be just as disorienting.
